This morning we watched the men working. They were digging 15 foot trenches for the new drains and sewers on Valparaiso St. This should detour any future flooding of our road and basement :)

School will resume Sept 17,2008. All are to avoid the Wisconsin and 3rd St bridges....

THE FLOODING OF THE BRICKIE BOWL

The Brickie Bowl is the Hobart High School Football and Track Field. It is a historical location because it is a "bowl" built down into the ground, hence the flooding. YIKES!!

HOBART IS FLOODED!! NO SCHOOL FOR DADDY!

There is about 8 feet of water in the Hobart High School Brickie Bowl. This is where the Football and Track Field is located!! Outrageous!

Lake George in Hobart is over running all of the bridges in town. It's almost impossible to get from the North side to the South. School will remain out until bus transportation safety can be ensured....
